Questions, answered
Do Physical Phones pair with Androids?
Yes! They pair with any phone that has Bluetooth capability — both Android and iOS.
To pair your phone:
- Press and hold the 0 key on your Physical Phone to put it into pairing mode. The LED will blink blue when it’s ready.
- Stay within about 10 feet of the Physical Phone while you pair.
- On your smartphone, open your Bluetooth settings and select the Physical Phone from the list — scroll to the bottom of the list if it isn’t showing near the top.
- If it asks you for a PIN, it’s 2525.
Once it’s paired, it reconnects automatically whenever your smartphone comes back into range, as long as Bluetooth is on.
What kinds of calls can Physical Phones receive?
In addition to regular phone calls, your Physical Phone will also ring for:
- WhatsApp audio & video calls
- FaceTime audio & video calls
- Instagram audio & video calls
Just make sure your smartphone’s call and notification settings are set to allow these apps to ring through. As long as your smartphone rings for them, your Physical Phone will ring too.
How is it powered?
Physical Phones support two power options:
- Battery power (rechargeable)
- Removable USB power cable that plugs into a wall outlet
We recommend a standard 5V adapter.
Can Physical Phones connect to multiple phones at once?
Yes — it works both ways:
- Up to 2 smartphones can pair with 1 Physical Phone at the same time.
- 1 smartphone can pair with up to 5 Physical Phones at the same time.
So you can share one Physical Phone between two people, or put Physical Phones in several rooms and have them all ring from the same smartphone.
Will the Physical Phone still ring if my phone is on Do Not Disturb?
No — Physical Phones follow your smartphone’s ring settings. If Do Not Disturb is enabled, the Physical Phone will not ring.
It will still ring if your smartphone is on silent, though. The Physical Phone has its own ringer, so calls still come through even when your smartphone doesn’t make a sound.
